Spring Days

Image
It's been a while, I know...it seems that every time I blog I begin the same way! I can already feel it coming...we've been busy, I want to blog more, I will try to do better...blah, blah, blah! The truth is that in all honesty, it will probably be a while before I blog again! Anyway, we have been enjoying the wonderful spring days lately. Since the time has changed, we stay outside as much as possible in the afternoons. We really love living in our new neighborhood because we have a great place to ride bikes and walk without worrying about safety. Vanilla Flavor 3 Cups Cake Flour 6 Eggs Cream butter and cream cheese together. Add sugar and vanilla and beat until fluffy. Add 1 cup flour and 2 eggs. Beat at medium speed. Continue adding 1 cup flour and 2 eggs until all are mixed in. Beat until smooth. (About a min...

Happy Birthday, Oki!

Image
I can hardly believe it...Our Okianna Grace turned two on June 16 th . We celebrated her birthday at a family gathering on Father's Day. She had a blast and so did we! If you're wondering about her finger...she swiped some icing before we sang Happy Birthday. This is a picture from her actual "birthday", June 16 th . If anyone had asked me a little over two years ago, I would never have guessed that were about to have a little princess in our lives. My dad was the only one that "knew". When our doctor said, "It's a girl!" Wayne and I really couldn't believe our ears! We were that convinced that we were having a boy; even though , looking back now I see that her pregnancy was completely different from the boys'. She's definitely been a blessing, albeit a quickly moving, demanding, and whiny one, but none the less a precious, angel girl blessing...
