Russell Family Blessings

I can hardly believe it...Our Okianna Grace turned two on June 16 th . We celebrated her birthday at a family gathering on Father's Day. She had a blast and so did we! If you're wondering about her finger...she swiped some icing before we sang Happy Birthday. This is a picture from her actual "birthday", June 16 th . If anyone had asked me a little over two years ago, I would never have guessed that were about to have a little princess in our lives. My dad was the only one that "knew". When our doctor said, "It's a girl!" Wayne and I really couldn't believe our ears! We were that convinced that we were having a boy; even though , looking back now I see that her pregnancy was completely different from the boys'. She's definitely been a blessing, albeit a quickly moving, demanding, and whiny one, but none the less a precious, angel girl blessing...

Today, Wayne and I have been married for 13 years. It is amazing how God has blessed us in that time! The scripture from Ephesians is true: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages world without end. Amen. (3:20-21) When we married in 1995, neither of us would have believed that we would be where we are today. Where is that you ask? Married thirteen years with three precious children and still in love. We're heading fast toward middle age, but we're soooooooo blessed! The road hasn't been a piece of cake, we've worked hard to accomplish the things we have, but I would do it over in a heartbeat. Wayne is a great husband and father and the best thing is that he is the spiritual head of our home. I am so proud to be his wife!
